Selling: We only purchase select guitars that meet our standards for inclusion in our inventory of fine guitars. Please call us at (805) 882-1166 or better yet, email us at guitars@soundboardguitars.com and let us know about your guitar. We need to know what you paid for it and when, the year, the maker, the woods on the top, back and sides, the scale length, the condition, and the price you are seeking (if you know that). If you need help with any of these items contact us and we can advise you. We can usually only approximate a price that we might pay until we actually see the guitar. In order to obtain a final price from us, or final rejection if the guitar does not meet our standards, you will ultimately need to send the guitar to us. You will almost always make more money if you sell via consignment ( see below ) than if you sell for cash. But, if we purchase your guitar it leads to immediate cash, while consignment sales are less predictable in terms of the time/price involved.
